Forward has purchased 40 x 60kg bags of Cyesha CWS Washed Red Bourbon.

Cyesha is the newest addition to the Muraho Trading Co family, our partners in Rwanda. It's located in the Nyamasheke District and borders the famous Lake Kivu. Growing conditions for coffee in this area are incredibly well suited, with a range in altitude from 1460 - 1720 masl and beautiful rich volcanic soils.

There are 470 farmers that registered their coffee with Muraho in 2022 season, the first in which they've produced here. Of the 470 farmers, 23% are female. 

The previous owner approached Muraho about putting the station up for sale and did not want to sell it to one of the big players. Considering the location of Rugali, Kilimbi and Gisheke, stations in Nyamasheke it was a no brainer and decision they made on the spot to buy the station, as it now gives unique positioning of Nyamasheke as Cyesha is over the hill to Rugali. Additionally, they also have very good existing relationships with the area that we have developed over the past 7 years. 

Cyesha management team are the youngest team in all our stations across Muraho.

This is the first time Cyesha has be offered in North America.
