Arrival September 2020.
Felipe Arcila and his brother Carlos began growing coffee here at Jardines del Eden just two years ago when they decided to buy the farm. They now have more than 10 different varieties of coffee under production - this lot being 100% Tabi. This farm is dedicated to experimentation in processing and cultivating coffee. Here they are growing Pink Bourbon, Tabi, Gesha, SL28, Sidra, Wush Wush, Caturrón, Papayo and more.
Pink Bourbon is a natural hybridization of Red and Yellow Bourbon that was first discovered in Huila. It's known for a floral, citric and near-Geisha cup profile with noted resistance to coffee leaf rust.
This lot underwent a one day fermentation in an anaerobic environment. Following this, it underwent an extended fermentation in GrainPro bags at the same temperatures and lastly went back into the initial tanks for another full day. It was then placed on raised beds to dry in whole cherry.
