La Margarita Coffee Reserve Company was established by the Solorzano family in the Valle de Ocobamba district of the department of Cusco in Peru. Since 2017, La Margarita producers have been promoting a model for coffee cultivation, processing, and commercialization. La Margarita's story originates in the southern region of Peru's Cusco, where its first coffees, produced by founders Neto and Ivan, surprised judges at the 2021 Cup of Excellence in Peru. This achievement sparked a reevaluation of specialty coffee processing practices across the country.
All cupping results are derived from blind cupping sessions and adhere to SCA cupping standards.
