Beneficio Pedra Branca is a coffee buying and processing center located on the municipality of Pedralva, on the property of Fazenda Furnas. The farm itself comprises a coffee producing area, large permanent environmental preservation areas and the processing facility which has been in operation since 2013. The total area is 30 hectares, and the coffee cherry is purchased from nearby municipalities.

The purpose of Pedra Branca is to invest in innovations in processing methods which results in cups with unique and exquisite attributes and great cupping scores. This is where new processes in this region are designed, with lots of efforts in trial and error, creating new processing methods, experiences and generate a level of excellence in postharvest processes.

For our team, this coffee is very rich and structured, with dark chocolates being a focal point, giving us the reminder of classic Brazilian profile. Then notes of pink grapefruit, nectarine, and some starfruit type of tropical qualities. This is a very unique cup profile that makes both a fantastic espresso as well as a lovely filter coffee.
